Advantages and Applications of the Large-Diameter Rotary Compost Turner for Fertilizer

2026/05/27

The large-diameter rotary compost turner is a new type of large-scale organic fertilizer fermentation equipment. It adopts a large-diameter rotary turning structure, offering a wide turning width, high processing capacity, and a high degree of automation. It is widely used in large-scale livestock farms, organic fertilizer industrial parks, and large-scale centralized manure treatment projects, and is one of the main pieces of equipment for modern aerobic fermentation.

The large-diameter rotary compost turner features a large rotating disc structure. The disc is equipped with multiple sets of high-strength, wear-resistant turning rakes, ensuring stable operation and strong turning force. During operation, the machine spans the fermentation tank or windrow, and the large rotary disc rotates at a uniform speed, continuously turning, breaking up, and scattering the bottom, middle, and surface layers of material, achieving full oxygen supply, uniform heat dissipation, and rapid deodorization and maturation. Compared to ordinary compost turning equipment, the large-diameter rotary compost turner has a wider single-turn width, significantly improving operating efficiency and making it suitable for centralized fermentation of large-tonnage materials.

The large-diameter rotary compost turner is highly adaptable, capable of processing various organic wastes such as pig manure, cow manure, sheep manure, chicken manure, straw, mushroom residue, and sludge. It is highly tolerant of varying moisture and fiber content in materials, and is less prone to clogging or tangling. The entire machine is constructed of thickened, corrosion-resistant steel, making it resistant to moisture and corrosion, and unlikely to deform or break under prolonged operation in high-humidity fermentation environments, resulting in a long service life.

The large-disc compost turner can be used with trough-type tracks or for large-area windrow fermentation. It supports fully automatic electronic control operation, allowing for timed turning and constant-temperature turning, eliminating the need for manual supervision. It ensures uniform turning without dead corners, rapid pile heating, and a short composting cycle. The fermented material has stable organic matter content and is thoroughly disinfected, completely meeting the standards for harmless organic fertilizer.

With its advantages of large processing capacity, uniform turning, high automation, durability, and corrosion resistance, the large-disc compost turner is the ideal choice for large-scale organic fertilizer plants and county-wide manure and wastewater treatment projects, meeting the needs of large-scale, standardized, and environmentally friendly fermentation production.
