Disc Granulator: The Key to Organic Fertilizer's Transformation?

 The   disc granulator is undoubtedly a key player in the transformation of organic fertilizer from loose material to finished granules. Its unique disc structure precisely transforms decomposed organic material into uniform granules, enhancing the storage and transportation convenience of the fertilizer while seamlessly integrating with upstream and downstream fertilizer equipment to create an efficient granular fertilizer production system.

Entering the granular organic fertilizer production workshop, the disc granulator's working scene is particularly striking. Like a skilled "sculptor," its tilted disc rotates at a steady speed. Once decomposed material and an appropriate amount of water or binder are fed into the disc, the disc granulates.Under the combined effects of centrifugal force, friction, and gravity, the material gradually agglomerates into uniformly sized particles. Even more ingenious, by adjusting the disc's tilt angle and rotational speed, the particle diameter can be precisely controlledfrom 2 mm to 8 mmto meet the fertilization needs of different crops. This flexibility is precisely what makes it so popular.

The efficient operation of the disc granulator requires the full cooperation of other equipment. Before the material enters the granulator, the fertilizer crusher grinds the bulky, decomposed material into a fine powder, laying the foundation for granule formation. After granulation, the wet granules are immediately fed into a   drum fertilizer dryer  , where hot air quickly removes moisture.To prevent clumping, a drum fertilizer cooler then takes over to reduce the temperature, ensuring the pellets meet the required hardness. Finally, a screening machine filters out unqualified pellets for reprocessing, while qualified pellets are packaged in a packaging machine.
