How to deal with the low ball forming rate of the disc granulator?

2023/04/10

Disc granulator is a common fertilizer granulation equipment, which can be used in organic fertilizer production line or NPK fertilizer production line, and it is welcomed by many manufacturers. Of course, the low ball forming rate of the machine is also the main concern of the manufacturer.

First of all, it is very important to control the moisture content of materials. The moisture content of the raw material determines the granule rate of the fertilizer granules in the disc granulator. If the water content is too little, the degree of difficulty in forming balls will increase, resulting in low yield. If the water content is too much, the surface of the granules is prone to sticky properties, which is easy to cause blockage during granulation, thus affecting the production volume. So should ensure the right amount of water.

The second is the inclination and rotation speed of the disc. Generally speaking, we can adjust the inclination angle of the turntable of the disc granulator. However, the original manufacturer has adjusted a reasonable angle when manufacturing the disc granulator. When the user adjusts by himself, he should do it in moderation and not over-adjust to prevent equipment damage. Similarly, the rotational speed of the disc should also be kept within a reasonable range. Depending on the material, the speed can be adjusted slightly.

If it is used in NPK fertilizer production line, if you want to increase the quality of compound fertilizer, you must carefully mix the formula of materials. Pre-production training must be carried out before production. After training, you can achieve proficient operating skills, proficient working ability, and proficiency in controlling the items number of materials.

As long as the above-mentioned things are done well, the efficiency of the bio-organic fertilizer equipment disc granulator can be improved, and I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
