This not only mars the product's appearance but, in severe cases, renders entire batches unsuitable for mechanized application, resulting in significant economic losses. At the microscopic level, caking is caused by the repeated absorption of moisture, deliquescence, and recrystallization of granules, creating "crystal bridges" that bind small particles together. Due to their highly hydrophilic raw materials and high organic matter content, organic fertilizers are extremely sensitive to humidity fluctuations, making them far more prone to caking than conventional chemical fertilizers. The third line of defense employs an anti-sticking inner lining combined with centrifugal densification in the rounding zone; this produces dense, uniform granules with smooth surfaces, drastically reducing porosity and delaying crystal bridge formation, resulting in a stable granulation rate exceeding 90%. These three interconnected defenses fundamentally resolve the industry-wide challenge of organic fertilizer caking.
