The double roller extrusion granulator is the most mature and mainstream equipment in the dry granulation field. It relies on physical high-pressure extrusion molding, requiring no water addition or drying, and is suitable for the production of various organic fertilizers and organic-inorganic compound fertilizers. The machine mainly consists of five parts: frame, hydraulic system, alloy pressure rollers, forced feeding device, and transmission speed regulation system. It has a compact and robust structure and extremely high operational stability.
The double roller extrusion granulator operates on a simple and efficient principle. Material is evenly fed between the two rollers via a screw feeder. A constant pressure is applied through the hydraulic system, and the material is extruded using the hemispherical die cavity on the roller surface, forming regular flat round granules in one pass. The entire process involves no high temperature or added moisture, fully preserving the organic matter and beneficial bacterial activity of the material. The core pressure rollers are made of high-manganese alloy, hardened and wear-resistant, and support double-sided alternating use, significantly reducing the replacement cost of vulnerable parts.

Compared to traditional granulation equipment, the double roller extrusion granulator has significant advantages: dry, room-temperature molding, preserving the activity of the microbial agent; high particle density, non-hygroscopic, non-pulverizing, and extremely low storage and transportation losses; dust-free production, meeting environmental protection standards; high degree of automation, simple operation, low failure rate, and capable of 24-hour continuous operation. Whether for small and medium-sized fertilizer plants or large-scale production lines, it is the preferred granulation equipment for its high cost-effectiveness and high stability.
